DTV-Shredder-Utility-version.jpg New for 2019 DTV Motor Company has added a Utility Version of the Shredder. With a trailer hitch attachment, mud flaps, electric start, and a tool kit, this Shredder is ready to go to work. The biggest change, however, is under the riding deck. A new Low Gear Reduction Drive gives the Utility model nearly twice the towing capacity and increased incline capability. Rated for up-to 900lbs towing, the UT model becomes the perfect work horse.

Ryan Fairhead, Vice President of DTV Motor Company, said the low gear reduction hubs add 33% more torque with a 1:0.66 reduction ratio. The gear reduction hub units can also be swapped out for standard 1:1 hubs in about 20 minutes. Ryan says the gear reduction hubs will be sold as a stand-alone upgrade for anyone that wants to turn their existing Shredder into a utility machine. The gear reduction system helps with low-speed maneuvering and higher towing capacity. It’s a simple bolt-on system that can be used in a variety of applications.

    Included with the UT model:
    • Low Gear Reduction Drive
    • Trailer Hitch/ Mud Flaps
    • Skid Plate
    • Electric Start
    • DTV Dollies (For easy transportation around the shop/garage)
    • DTV Tool Kit
    • DTV Storage Cover
    • Price: $5,999
The camo vinyl wrap (add $450) and the LED lighting kit (add $169.99) shown above are extra.
